Do I need a crush washer with this muzzle brake. Featured Answer

Yes a crush washer is needed to properly install this muzzle brake, it clocks the gas ports correctly and takes the gap out between the barrel treaded end and the back end of the muzzle brake. The crush washer comes with this unit so install and torque muzzle brake to spec, verify the ports align properly top holes at 12 O'clock side ports at 3 and 9..........now go play!

I just took my AR15 to the range after installing the Fortis Muzzle Brake. I fired three rounds and retrieved the target. Dead center with two keyholes. There is zero muzzle rise and recoil is almost non existent. I thought the blast would be louder....
