will this brake work on my sig p226 threaded barrel Expert Answer

Yes. The Fortis Manufacturing Muzzle Brake will fit. However, this was not designed for handguns and may be a little large and bulky. It will also make finding a holster a little more difficult.

Love this thing. Looks great and functions well on my vector . I paired it with the control shield by Fortis and makes for a great looking combo. Included crush washer was a huge plus as it allowed me to time the break right from my couch.

I pinned and welded this muzzle device to a 14 1/2 inch Roscao barrel works great the only knock I would give it is that it came predrilled for the pin and weld option but no pin came with it.

I used this on my Cz scorpion 9mm and it made it recoil really bad, it recoiled less without the brake on my gun. Wish I could return it. My scorpion is an SBR and I figured by adding the brake it would help reduce the recoil and I was wrong.
