is the black distressed or shiny? Expert Answer

The black sling is not distressed, but it's not very shiny either. More of a plain grain finish rather than a polished leather finish.

Installed on Beeman air rifle and forward sling swivel is mounted to barrel. Overall sling length is marginal for this application, but, should be fine for shorter rifles/applications. Pros: Simple Cons: May be short for longer rifles/applications
