Does this model include a Super 42 Braided Wire Buffer Spring and Buffer Combo like the same item 08-159 on Geissele's website?

Yes this should come with the buffer/spring- I recieved mine with the 10.3 version.

Can I replace the muzzle device and install a silencerco muzzle? Expert Answer

The muzzle device is pinned and welded, so you would have to take the barrel to a machine shop or qualified gunsmith to permanently remove the flash hider.

This is a thing of beauty, fit my lower palmetto like a glove. I read this upper is heavy, but i really didn't notice a difference between this and other uppers I,ve used. It feels solid, no rattling. Great quality, exactly as advertized.

Extremely durable duty grade upper. I would trust my life to the ability of this upper to perform in any condition or environment. Keep in mind that this is not a true clone and does not have the DD barrel but instead an Geissele in house CHF barrel.

For more than 50 years, the famed silhouette of the M16/M4 has only had one major and several minor changes. Barrel lengths and buttstocks have changed, but more or less the evolution of America's right arm has proceeded apace with each generation of warrior making her their own. In that time, the sight of the M16/M4 in the competent grasp of young Americans has meant hope to countless millions of people around the globe.image

With the advent of the Geissele USASOC AR15/M4/M16 Upper Receiver Complete Group, that quintessentially American silhouette has changed forever. The Geissele USASOC AR15/M4/M16 Upper Receiver Complete Group combines the handguard, hammer forged barrel, and mid-length gas system to work in concert for a package that delivers measurable increases in hit probability. Designed to take the full rigors of the new M855A1 (AB57) ammunition, these AR15 Upper Receivers also take full advantage of its capabilities. Once the Geissele USASOC AR15/M4/M16 Upper Receiver Complete Group is installed on an existing system, it essentially makes for a brand new weapon. It is a near-clone upper receiver group currently going into service with USASOC.

NFA DISCLAIMER/WARNING: This item contains a permanently pinned and welded muzzle device. This makes the muzzle device an integral part of the barrel to make the barrel meet the 16" minimum length requirement, and requires no registration or tax stamp from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). Removal or modification to the muzzle device, will result in converting this item to a regulated item by the National Firearms Act (NFA). Additional state and local restrictions may apply.
