Does this work with just 223/556 1/2 by 28 or will is fit for all my Griffen mounts some on 9mm and ar10. Thanks Expert Answer

This thread protector is specifically designed to fit Griffin Armament taper muzzle devices. So no, it does not attach to 1/2x28 threading. It specifically attaches to their taper mounts when you are not using a suppressor.

This adaptor is for the threads of a Taper Mount muzzle device. You would have received a Taper Mount muzzle device with your Recce 5.
