I just resentlly purchased a Griffin Armament Tapered mount Flash suppressor, 1 of 3, for my AR-15. I purchased the Griffin Armament Threaded protector to protect the threads, it works great. I have a Griffin Armament micro suppressor. I use it when I take off my suppressor to protect the thread from getting scratched and marred. Like I said it works great.

I own 2 other of these flash suppressors. They are of excellent quality. I have a Griffin Armament Micro Suppressor. It mounts flawlessly with the griffin micro tapered adaptor. I also purchased the Thread protector, which just threads over the flash suppressor to protect it. I just removed the bird cage flash suppressor and mounted it on my AR-15.
