The Sig 516 factory buffer weight should be an "H." You can use other buffer weights but it is up to the user to determine the appropriate buffer weight for your rifle and how it's set up (suppressed, sbr, pistol calibers, etc).

Upgrade your AR with a JP Enterprises Silent Captured Buffer Spring System to create a quieter and smoother shooting experience. These Gen 2 AR15 Buffer Springs are available for your AR 15, AR 10, or DPMS LR-308 firearm, and they eliminate that annoying grating sound that many modern rifles emit. JP Silent Buffer Springs don't cause friction like standard springs and can be removed for custom tuning. The Gen 2 JPSCS offers several upgrades from the previous version including a lightweight aluminum guide rod, reduced bolt bounce, and they are reconfigurable between AR-15 and AR-10 models.image

Perfect for rifle-length and carbine-length weapon systems, the JP Enterprises Gen 2 Silent Buffer Spring System is an affordable upgrade for silent and smooth shots on target. Please note that these quiet buffer spring systems are not compatible with any 9mm AR variant or blowback system that uses a solid, weighted carrier.
