Yes, the Leupold Alpine CF-425 Tripod Kit is compatible with your Leupold SX-2 Alpine HD Spotting Scope. All of Leupold's spotters have the universal 1/4x20 threading, which allows you to fit a tripod plate to the bottom of the unit and attach it to a tripod. All of Leupold's tripods will attach to all of their spotters.
