Lightweight, yes.In fact, this was impressive. The size, portability and the overall load was exactly what I was looking for when searching for a tripod. I have a folding carbon fiber Christiansen Arms 6.5 PRC MPR ; topped with a Leupold VX 6 HD 3-18x50 CDS-ZL2 30 mm scope. It’s weight comes out to be around 11 pounds. This Alpine Pro CF 425 is capable of handling weights of over 13 pounds. When collapsed, it’s. 28 inch length fits perfect in my backpack. Even the aesthetics are great. Best tripod

Nice and light weight. No clips to break legs twist lock swivel head is sensitive when adjusting smooth. Could be a lot cheaper very pricey.
