Plenty of real estate for any red dot you could want. Hasn't shifted on me yet, nor has my optic shifted on the Pic rail. So far, I'm happy with it and the money I saved over more expensive carry handle mounting solutions. Not sure how it would hold ...

Solid mount. Affordable. Seems to he sturdy. Recommend blue loctite on the screw as with any of these kind of mounts. Not as light as others but still allows use of irons. So fits the bill.

It fits perfectly on the carrying handle. I was able to install a vortex hunting scope with no issues other than The mounting bolt does like to back out if not torqued to a significant amount. Maybe thread locker would help.
