What is the center to center on mounting holes ? Expert Answer

I spoke with Marlin Technical Support at 800-225-9626, and they indicate that the hols spacing is .830" center to center.

The Lyman The No. 2 Marlin Tang Sight is designed to fit Marlin Models 336, 1894, 1895 and 30 series lever action rifles. It should work with that model 1895.

Improve the accuracy of your favorite deer rifle with a #2 Tang Sight.

In 1995, Lyman introduced a new version of the No. 2 Tang for Marlin Models 336, 1894, 1895 and 30 series lever action rifles. The Marlin version features a special adapter base which allows mounting of the sight on the tang without damaging the serial number. All steel, this model has the same features and aperture discs as the 1886 model above. Mounting screws and instructions are included.
