For my use, this bipod did not work. I placed it on a 22lr for bench rest shooting. There is way too much back-and-forth movement for 22LR in my opinion. If you shoot center fire and like to preload, this will probably be fine. On a 22LR I just want ...

I purchased the MDT Oryx and have used it 3 times now and it attaches to a sling stud nicely and has a mechanism to tighten up on the sling stud. It is a good bipod for the money.
