Too much back-and-forth slop for 22LR
Written on Nov 23, 2024
For my use, this bipod did not work. I placed it on a 22lr for bench rest shooting. There is way too much back-and-forth movement for 22LR in my opinion. If you shoot center fire and like to preload, this will probably be fine. On a 22LR I just want to put minimal pressure on the rear of the stock and don't want the bipod to move forward at all. When you lean into this bipod the POA, at 100 yards, goes down 2 feet before it stops. It does seem to be well made and looks great. But if you put it on a 22lr and you need a very steady bipod with no slop then don't buy this one.

Nice Picatinny Rail
Written on Nov 23, 2024
Review for
MDT Scope Base Picatinny Rail
No complaints here. Put it on a Remington 40x short action 22LR. Fit and finish was great. I also have a couple Area 419 rails. Other than the bubble level in the back which I never use, this rail seems to be as nice. Nice that they sent both 6-48 and 8-40 screws. I'd buy again.
