For my use, this bipod did not work. I placed it on a 22lr for bench rest shooting. There is way too much back-and-forth movement for 22LR in my opinion. Fantastic Product

I just got this in the mail and immediately put it on my Ruger American Gen 2 and I couldn't be more excited to go out and start shooting with it. The ease of installation was great and the quality of material is way better than expected. Definitely a great deal and looking forward to using it help me put some rounds down range.

MDT Oryx Rock Solid!!

I purchased the MDT Oryx and have used it 3 times now and it attaches to a sling stud nicely and has a mechanism to tighten up on the sling stud. It is a good bipod for the money.
Pros:

Missing a key feature

Review for the swivel stud mount version. works well and is sturdy however it needs to have a way to mount a sling to the bipod. Using the bipod means one cannot use a sling as there is nowhere to attach it. Others include a stud on the bottom of the bipod to allow a sling to still be used. 4 stars for the either or limitation. Otherwise good bit of kit.

  • No provisions for sling attachment.

Great all around bipod

The bipod is a very good design and is very light. Adjustments are simple and it is easy to use. The legs are much more stable than the Magpul bipod of similar design.

Fits well, quick deploy!

I haven't shot my 6.5CM with it yet, but it seems like it should handle it. I was surprised how it snugged up and held after attaching it! I was gonna go with Magpul, but glad I bought this MDT instead.
