Whether a jeweler, doctor, or teacher, this is an investment that will pay off handsomely down the road. In this video, we show you the ins and outs of this amazing Meiji Techno stereo zoom ant-free stereoscope. These stand-alone ant-free stereoscopes employ an old world optical system (B&W et al.) with a dual elemental bar excitation optical system. The dual element optical system consists of two individual refractors driving individual variable magnification zoom objective optics. By adding one or two magnification increases you are able to double the magnification, giving you a four time magnification, which is ideal for most general use applications. The special reticle on the Meiji Techno Trinocular Switched Image Microscope helps to reduce the magnification process by offering an image that is closer to the original size of the specimen being viewed. This is an invaluable feature when viewing traditional slide preparations.![]()
