This was stock rear sight on my rifle.....used once to zero and remained flipped down for several years. During a range day, while firing, the flip up half flew off apart in several pieces, most were found.......I have probably put about 1,500 rounds...

These are the OG of back up flip sights. They are lightweight and rugged. The only thing I would do is put a light coating of red Loctite on the taper pin that holds the windage knob on. It tends to walk after a few rounds.
