I bought this sight for my patrol rifle. Took a patrol rifle instructors course with the PA STATE POLICE. The sight blew appart after day 2. Sight is just a few months old and never fired on a rifle until this course. It lasted for about 16 hours of shooting.

Tried and true back up sight

These are the OG of back up flip sights. They are lightweight and rugged. The only thing I would do is put a light coating of red Loctite on the taper pin that holds the windage knob on. It tends to walk after a few rounds.
Best Used for:
  • AR flat tops with red dots
