Although relatively new products in the Ammo market, MILI Defense Ammunitions is a brand that's quickly gaining in popularity. They offer slugs and 00 buckshot shotgun shells for use as hunting or defense ammunition. They manufacture in small batches to ensure consistent patterns and performance. To see what customers are saying about the new brand, check out the MILI Ammo Product Reviews!
Yes, MILI Ammunition slugs are rifled and are therefore designed for use in smoothbore shotguns. This is what puts the spin on the projectile to give it accuracy. If you have a rifled shotgun barrel, then you should use sabot slugs, not rifled slugs. This might seem backward, but consider that rifle ammunition does not have any grooves (aka "rifling") on it because the rifling is in the barrel. Since a smoothbore has no rifling in the barrel, the grooves are on the slug instead.
Always check and understand all manufacturer's specifications before firing any ammunition in any firearm!
MILI Custom Defense Ammunitions is based out of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, in the United States of America.
There is no difference between MILI slugs and lead slugs since MILIs are made of lead. The only difference, like any slugs, is that MILIs are rifled for use in smoothbore shotguns. They are not sabot slugs for use in a rifled shotgun barrel.
MILI 12 gauge ammo is designed to work like any other Shotgun Ammo, provided you've checked the markings on the firearm to ensure everything matches up on the box of 12 gauge shells.
