Questions & Answers

Is this 3x9x50 threaded for a sunshade? Expert Answer

Yes, the objective end is threaded.

Does this scope have to be mounted too high on a lever gun due to the larger objective? ls a good sight picture achievable, or better to use 40mm opt. Expert Answer

The objective is not that much larger than a 40mm. It would require higher rings, but the difference between the 40mm and 50mm is only approximately .39". So you will need to decide between the slightly smaller objective that provides a little less light or the bigger objective that will provide more light through the scope.

Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x50 BDC by BH, November 14, 2017

This is a great scope for the money. Low light conditions are not the best out there but, other than that they are great. Personally I own three of them and may end up purchasing another for my daughter’s gun soon.

Nikon scope by John, August 12, 2020

After 2 years on a Gammo 22 pellet gun, it came apart. The lens fell out the front. I could see this if it was on a large caliber, but really? I can put it back together, but now the gas is gone and the tube fogs up. I have a complaint in with Nikon....
