What Does OWB in Holsters Mean?

OWB stands for Outside-the-Waistband, which means you carry your handgun outside of your body and around your waist. This is unlike IWB holsters, which are for Inside-the-Waistband carry. Shooters typically use OWB holsters to have quicker access to their firearm, and some people view OWB holsters as the more comfortable option. They are also the primary form used for shooting competitions, as already having your gun revealed gives you a time advantage when drawing.
