The threads are either 5/8x24, 5/8x32, 3/4x24, or 11/16x24 depending on what model you choose. I have this hypertap muzzle brake on my S&W 1854 .44 rem magnum. It makes the rifle look more tactical and completely eliminated recoil in my opinion. If your worried about it loosening add a little rocksett muzzle adhesive. 5 ⭐ product
