This mag block works well for it's intended purpose. Holding your rifle in a vice. DO NOT use this block to hold your rifle while you screw on or off a muzzle device. That's bad, ok. It could bend your upper.

When you need to secure your AR10 lower receiver to a vise this will do the job well. It’s definitely a big chunk of polymer but it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s not a super tight fit but tight enough.

Ordered this for ar10 platform. Received this pretty quick it went out the day after I ordered it. Went in mag well four different ways but only one way locked it in one way. Solid piece to use in a vice.

I have used this block for a few AR builds now, and it has held up quite well. The most important thing is it can handle the torque for the buffer tube castle nut. I primarily used this block on Aero Precision lowers.

This is the way to go. Fits well in my Pro Fab lower. If you get this one for 308 you can modify one side to fit AR15 instead of spending twice as much. Still will work fine for what I need after modification.
