No, this model is designed to work with the Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver, which requires no additional pieces.

The Aero Precision AR15 Gen 2 Enhanced Quad Rail Handguard will work with an M&P Sport II if it has a low profile gas block. You will also need to use the Aero Precision Barrel Nut at the link below.

The Aero Precision AR15 Gen 2 Enhanced Quad Rail Handguard is designed to work with the Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced upper receivers. If you have an Aero Precision M4 upper that is not the enhanced version you will need the Aero Precision BAR Barrel Nut. This can be found at the link below.

Does this rail have m-lok slots behind picatinny rails?

Unfortunately, it does not. These slots are not designed for mounting.

What is the ACTUAL length of the 9” hand-guard? The 12” was actually 13” from end to end, so it the 9” actually 10” or 9”?

These free floating handguards will require that you replace a triangle front sight with a low profile gas block.
