How much does this 16” upper weigh? Also does it matter about the postal or carbine gas tube? I’m putting it on a bushmaster lower.

The weight of the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 16in .300 Blackout w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Uppers are 53oz for the 12" handguard models and 55oz for the 15" handguard models. These uppers come with a gas tube and will work on a Bushmaster AR15 lower if it is Mil-Spec.

Yes, the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 16in .300 Blackout w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Upper Receiver will fit to your Ruger AR556 lower receiver and function as intended. This upper does not include a BCG or charging handle, you can use any 5.56 BCG and charging handle.

Yes, the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 16in .300 Blackout w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Upper has a threaded barrel with 5/8x24 threads. So you can remove the flash hider and install a muzzle brake or suppressor.

Will a silencer fit on the 16 inch barrel with the 15 inch hand guard ?

The inside diameter of the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 16in .300 Blackout w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Upper Receiver is 1.3in. If you have a suppressor that could clear that you would be ok. There is about a 1/2 gap between where the rail ends and the threads at the end of the barrel begin, so if your suppressor does not intrude back towards the rail a 1/2 inch then you should also be ok.

The Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 16in .300 Blackout w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Upper Receiver can use a 5.56 BCG as both 300 blackout and 5.56 utilize the same BCG.

I bought this and it’s on the way. My lower has a carbine length buffer and tube. I see this has a pistol length has tube. Did I buy the wrong upper?

This will fit on any standard mil-spec lower receiver.
