I see no charge bar, but does it have the bolt carrier group (BCG)?

The Aero Precision M5 16in .308 SS Complete Upper Receiver does not include a BCG or charging handle.

This Aero Precision M5 16in .308 SS Complete Upper Receiver w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard does not feature a fluted barrel. The fluted models can be found by using the link below:

Can this be shipped without the flash hider?

Unfortunately we do not offer custom assembly requests. The flash hider however is removable with the use of an armorer’s wrench.

Can this upper be placed on any brand lower? Or do you have to have a aero precision lower.

We build our 308 M5 platform to the AR308 pattern, with a DPMS High Profile (.210) Tang rail and 1-7/16 x 16 TPI. Please note that our .308 products are machined to AR .308 specs, which is similar but not the same as DPMS Gen 1. Unfortunately, because there is no set standard, we are unable to guarantee compatibility with any other manufacturer’s products within this platform.

We build our 308 M5 platform to the AR308 pattern, with a DPMS High Profile (.210) Tang rail and 1-7/16 x 16 TPI. Please note that our .308 products are machined to AR .308 specs, which is similar but not the same as DPMS Gen 1.
