This handguard is typically for the Aero Precision Enhanced uppers. For mounting to a DPMS upper, like the one you inquired about, you will need their barrel nut.

Yes aero precision offers a barrel nut to attach to standard receivers part# APRH308910.

M5E1 Handguard BAR Barrel Nut Kit
Adapts the Enhanced Handguards to most generic ar10 uppers.
There are two versions, Aero/DPMS and armalite.

It does have a barrel nut that Aero sells on their site. M5E1 barrel nut, in your choice of DPMS threaded or Armalite threaded for about $39.
