Yes. This Aero Precision Ultralight Scope Mount will fit scopes with a 1" maintube like the Leupold FX-II Scout 2.5x28. It is designed for the AR-15 platform, bringing the centerline of your optic to 1.5".

No, this will be closer to an absolute co-witness height, and therefore will not fully clear an A2 front sight base.

How does this fde match up to magpul fde?

This is a lighter shade of FDE while Magpul FDE is slightly greener and darker.
