I would recommend reaching out to AIM Sports directly as they do not provide the diameter of the locking pin.

Will this pintle attach directly to a 240 or 249 saw

No. This AIM Sports .30 Cal/.50 Cal Pintle is designed to fit with .30 and .50 cal guns like the Browning M1919 and their corresponding tripods.
