Does this have any height adjustment to match day scopes that may vary in height or is it set at an absolute height?

The height cannot be adjusted. It is designed for AR15 flat top design rifles that require an approximate 1.5" center of eye point.

Yes, you can use this mounted behind the Meprolight RDS Pro as long as you use the night vision settings on the RDS Pro.
