The PVS-14 has a bright light detection sensor that will power off the device when exposed to prolonged bright light.

The Armasight PVS-14 Pinnacle Elite Gen 3 IIT is a Filmed monocular. Resolution is 64-72 lp/mm. The Figure of Merit is not provided by the manufacturer. I'd recommend reaching out to them directly for more information.
