That depends on which scope covers you prefer. There are Butler Creek covers and Vortex Defender covers. The Defender covers are the slightly more durable and I would recommend these:

I'd recommend extra high rings due to the flat top design of the rifle.

It does not come with a sunshade, and unfortunately Athlon does not make one for this scope at this time.
