Yes, this should work with a RHINO mount as the RHINO is compatible with the PVS-7 and PVS-14 binocular and monocular setup.
ATN only has the head mounted assembly in one size. Few people have heads as small as stated in that review, and being an adjustable, universal size I would be confident in saying it was likely an adjustment/assembly issue.
