ATN does not specify the amount of time it takes to charge the battery. I would recommend contacting ATN directly for assistance. Their contact information can be found by using the link below:

Coach Whit, member, from TX, United States, asked on August 16, 2021

I only get a bright box in the center, is there a way to widen the illumination?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Tom B, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on September 29, 2021

The ATN IR850 has 4 brightness modes: The IR850 Supernova has 4 stage output-Low at 5%-30%-70%-100%.
These modes can be accessed by turning the brightness control ring.

Also you can focus the beam: Turn the light to maximum output and shine it on a wall 8~10 m away. To focus the beam, hold the lens head in one hand and turn the battery tube with your other hand. Turn clockwise or counter-clockwise till the focus is to your liking.

It can be used on anything that has a picatinny style rail to attach to, although it may be a bit heavy and cumbersome as its 6+" long and weighs over half a pound. The IR850-Supernova does have adjustment for the brightness.
