This is a thermal and does not "illuminate" the target and it also does not make use of IR illuminators. This functions off of infrared energy or heat. The Thors sensors and Germanium lens pick up infrared heat signatures and generate an image using the Thor's internal system and displays the generated image onto a 1280x720 HD Display. In regards to the "barometer", ATN makes no mention of a barometer for the ATN Thor-LT units as they are stripped down units that exclude many of the features found in the standard Thor models.
