Been waiting on a reply. Pic shows picatini, mlok rail, yet package content doesn’t inform. Is the purchase just foregrip?

The package includes a foregrip, picatinny rail, and an allen wrench. There is no M-LOK rail included.

No — the bottom does not unscrew to provide an internal storage compartment. This model is just a simple vertical grip that attaches to a Picatinny rail and doesn’t include any internal storage.

Will this fit the Standard M&P 15 without modification's?

The Barska AR-15 Tactical Vertical Handle Grip will fit your M&P-15 as long as you have a picatinny or M-LOK rail. If you have a picatinny rail, the grip will fit without the need for the M-LOK adapter. If you have an M-LOK handguard, you will need to use a separate M-lok adapter for installation as this does NOT come with an M-lok adapter. does the bottom stay protruding out with the gap like the pic or is that something that screws or goes in flush?

No, the grip will slide onto the rail from the end and fix into place by turning the retention screw at the bottom.
