Chest dimensions of xl and xxl

The XL fits a 46" - 48" chest and XXL fits a 50" - 52" chest.

picture shows pading on right side of vest but description states left. which is it?

This will depend on the model. There are left handed vests and right handed vests. Padding will depend on which that model is.
