I'm assuming that you don't cut the foam on this since it's only a one-ply foam top and bottom?

The included foam with the Boyt Harness H36SG Single Takedown Gun Case was not designed to be cut, but you could do so if you desired. We also carry the Eylar 38in Protective Roller Hard Rifle Case, which includes Pick-n-pull foam, and can be found by using the link below:

Is the interior foam pre-cut for an AR-15?

The foam is not pre-cut it uses egg carton interior foam.
