All of our gun cases are advertised by the interior dimensions of the case, and the height on this case at the stock end is 6" tall. You will need to measure the length and height of your gun to see if it will fit in this case. We do recommend adding 2" to the overall length of your gun when choosing the perfect size case.

The Boyt Harness Alaskan Series Shotgun Case that I would recommend is the 40" case to avoid extra bulk and due to the 1/2 inch of clearance on either side, you will be able to close the case without an issue.

On the Alaskan are the strap, tip handle real leather??

Yes. The handle is made from full grain leather.

What is the difference between the Boyt Alaskan shot soft gun case and the Signature Series case?

The Alaskan series has Heavy-duty web sling and spine, where as the Signature series has Harness leather handle/sling/trim. Other than that they are essentially the same.
