I'm thinking of putting this on my Marlin 1895 in 45-70 Government. Has anyone shot this thing extensively? I'm concerned about the heavy recoil. — 1 Answer

I asked Burris about a different scope if it would work on a 416 Remington Magnum. They told me that all their scopes are rated for 50 bmg. So I would think you’re good to go!
