Is the 2000 yard range only reflective or any target, deer, elk etc

A
Answered by Brandon, member, from UT, United States, on February 02, 2021

Burris states it will range a non-reflective target at 2,000 yards. With that in mind, the ranging capability can get you out to +2,000 yards, but the ballistics calculator is not able to stretch out to that distance and has shorter yardage limitations based on the caliber you are using. This is because the Eliminator IV is designed to put you in the kill zone of an animal and not designed as a precision shooting optic.

The Burris Eliminator IV LaserScope 4-16x50mm Second Focal Plane (SFP) Rifle Scope can be programmed for use with your specific load data. However, Burris does not provide the ballistic information with the scope and that cartridge. For that information I recommend contacting Burris.
