The Burris XTR II 8-40x 50mm Riflescope has parallax adjustment from 50 yards-infinity. This scope is made in the Philippines.

can this scope see .22 lr hole in a traditional black target at 100 yds? I'm a benchers shooter.

The OpticsPlanet Exclusive Burris XTR II 8-40x 50mm Rifle Scope will be able to see bullets of a .22LR at 100 yards depending on the conditions you are shooting in. Certain factors like temperature, or rain may prevent you from clearly seeing bullet holes from a .22LR but if you are shooting in clear conditions with a steady rest the OpticsPlanet Exclusive Burris XTR II 8-40x 50mm Rifle Scope is capable of seeing those bullet holes.

The manufacturer doesn't state if there is a recoil limit for the OpticsPlanet Exclusive Burris XTR II 8-40x 50mm Rifle Scope. Burris states that it is shock proof and can handle the recoil of the hardest recoiling calibers. So I would be confident that the OpticsPlanet Exclusive Burris XTR II 8-40x 50mm Rifle Scope can handle 50 BMG Recoil.

How fine is the reticle in terms of visibility in varying light ? The 6x Burris and 36x Sightron lines are so fine as to disappear on our indoor range

The OpticsPlanet Exclusive Burris XTR II 8-40x 50mm Rifle Scope reticle has an ultra fine crosshair. From what information I could find the crosshair lines are .05 MOA.

Why does Specifications show "non-illuminated" but Features shows "illuminated"?

MPN:201081 is the second focal plane model with a NON-illuminated reticle. MPN: 201080 is the first focal plane option with the illuminated reticle.
