The Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40 mm Rifle Scope is 12.2" in overall length. For the length from the rear of the scope to the start of the bell of the objective lens I recommend contacting Burris for that information.

Is this a fixed reticle scope? Just looking for a simple nonadjustable scope

Expert Answer

Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on August 10, 2022

The Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40 mm Rifle Scope is a variable power scope. The magnification range is 3-9x and it has a second focal plane reticle. If you are wanting a fixed magnification scope the model at the link below might work for you depending on what magnification you want the scope to be.

Mounting the Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40 mm Rifle Scope to the forward picatinny rail on the Springfield M1A Scout Squad will most likely prevent from attaining proper eye relief. I recommend using a scope with a long eye relief like the one at the link below.

Will this work well with an AR10? (.308 AR Build)

Expert Answer

Answered by Ethan, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on June 29, 2022

Yes. The Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40 mm Rifle Scope will work well with a .308 caliber rifle. I would recommend the Ballistic Plex E1 reticle (MPN:200320) which features hash marks designed for dead on aiming out to 500 yards. It also features Hold Assist Dots that represent hold off for a 10 m.p.h. crosswind (+/- 1.5 in. at 400 yds.)

The Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40 mm Rifle Scope will mount to a Juggernaut AR10 but it will need to be mounted to the picatinny rail on top of the receiver of that rifle. I recommend using a 1" diameter cantilever mount. The 1" Warne Gen 2 Extended Skeletonized MSR Mounts at the link below will work with this scope.
