Will this optic mount on a carry handle?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Tom B, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on August 09, 2021

You would need an adapter to add a picatinny rail on top of your carry handle, which would put the optic up pretty high. Yes you could do it with an adapter such as this: NC-WPM-AB48T-MAR6M2

Would this work on a 350 legend or 300 blackout?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on March 16, 2022

Yes, the Burris AR-536 Prism 5x 36mm Tactical Red Dot Sight will work on a rifle chambered in 350 Legend or 300 Blackout. The Ballistic CQ Reticle is designed for use with 5.56 or 7.62x51, but will work with other cartridges. You would just have to sight in your rifle with the Burris AR-536 Prism 5x 36mm Tactical Red Dot Sight and understand what holdovers or adjustments you need for that cartridge.

Is the optic mount tall enough to still operate on an M4 with a front sight built on?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on February 22, 2022

Yes, the Burris AR-536 Prism 5x 36mm Tactical Red Dot Sight could be used with a rifle with an A2 front sight or fixed iron sight. However, I recommend using flip up sights in order to ensure their is no issues if you have to adjust for eye relief. The Burris AR-536 Prism 5x 36mm Tactical Red Dot Sight will no co-witness with a front sight since it is a fixed 5x prismatic sight.
