What is the length of the 1" part of the tube. Please measure from where eyepiece meets tube to where tube begins to flare. Thank you

The manufacturer doesn't provide the length of the main tube of the Bushnell Banner 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope. I recommend contacting Bushnell in regards to that information.

Would this be a good scope for a Marlin 1894 .44mag mounted on top of the receiver?

The Bushnell Banner 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope could be used on a Marlin 1894 .44 Magnum. Just ensure you have a compatible scope mount and rings.

The Bushnell Banner 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope can be mounted to a Ruger American Rifle. I recommend using the 1" diameter medium height Leupold PRW2 Rifle Scope Rings located at the link below.

The Bushnell Banner 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope will work well on a 22 MAG Rifle. Just ensure it is mounted properly, with the correct rings.

What size sun shade would I need? I already have it and ordered a 40mm but it’s too big.

I am not sure there is a sun shade made specifically for this scope. I would look at these bushnell scope covers because they will hang over a little bit given some shade:

“Field of View (ft@100 ft. / m@100 m)” Shouldn’t the field of view be measured in ft@ 100 yards instead of 100 feet?

The field of view specs posted by Bushnell states (Ft @ 100 yds) - 32 ft. @ 3X to 11 ft. @ 9X.

Can this scope be used on a Remington 783 ?

Yes. You have several options to mount the Bushnell Banner 3-9x40mm Riflescope. If you already have a picatinny rail on your rifle, you will only need scope rings that mount to picatinny to fit the scope. If you do not already have a picatinny rail on the top of your rifle, you can purchase an aftermarket rail adaptor that will put picatinny on your rifle. At that point you would get scope rings and be all set. The last option, is if you don't have a picatinny rail on your rifle, you can get scope rings that mount directly to the rifle and allow you to mount the scope. I would recommend low height rings. Doesn't say that the scope is shock proof do you know if the scope can handle the percussion of my Remington 700ML?

Bushnell states that This Scope is perfect for high-recoiling firearms due to the extended eye relief it provides. It has been tried and tested on a multitude of different calibers without fail.

This scope does not come with rings. The flip cap you need for the eyepiece is: BX-R2-ECOVERS-MO20180 and the objective is:
BX-R2-COVERS-30280
