Ruger says not to use a micro dot that weighs over 1 ounce and the bushnell weighs 2.2 ounces. with a 40 grain bullet it won't cycle back correctly and with a 27 grain bullet it won't reliably cycle. I have this optic and the ruger and sadly I wanted it to work but the optic is 1.2 ounces to heavy.
