The Choate Tool Mossberg Short Pistol Grip Forend might work with the Mossberg 535 but I recommend contacting Choate Tool to confirm.

Will it fit the 590

No. The The 835, 590 and newer 500 have a shorter forend than the old 500. This forend will only fit the Mossberg shotguns that have the steel tube in the center that the action bars are welded to. If your forend is held to the action bars by pins and there is no steel tube in the center of your forend when it is removed from the action, then this forend will not fit your gun.
