No, the CMMG Mk4 Resolute Upper Receiver Group features a direct impingement gas operating system (mid-length, 0.750" non-adjustable).

I see that this model (MK4) comes in 7.62x39. According to the description this upper should fix standard AR style lower receivers correct.

The 7.62x39 CMMG Mk4 Resolute Upper Receiver Group is designed to work with Mk47 lowers and will not work with AR15(Mk4) or AR10/LR308(Mk3) lower groups.

No. None of these CMMG Mk4 Resolute Upper Receiver Groups utilize a forward assist. Each upper will include a bolt carrier group and ambidextrous charging handle.
