Will a Daniel defense low profile (0.75”) gas block work with this, or will the gas tube hole be too close to the barrel where it’s fattens out?

Yes. The Daniel Defense Rifle Barrel Assembly is Cold Hammer Forged from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel, Mil-spec heavy phosphate coated and chrome lined with 1:11 twist on a Mid-length gas system.

The SPC "II" chamber corrects for an error in the original cartridge blueprints; lead (freeborn) was increased which lowered resulting chamber pressure.
