No, this Dark Hour Defense M&P Stand Off Device is only compatible with the M&P 380-EZ SHIELD/M&P 9MM-EZ SHIELD.

Does this double as a muzzle break due the the shape the spacing between the barrel and device?

No, it does not and is only a stand-off device. Dark Hour Defense actually offers a different stand-off device that does function partially as a compensator, but this is not the model.
