Yes. The Dark Storm Industries DSI Heavy Buffer is compatible with CMMG MK3, DPMS LR-308 (Aero M5) and DSI DS-10 .308 Platform Rifles.

Yes. Our heavy buffer will with work with your Aero M5 upper. There is a bit of tuning required when building a rifle. You will want to make sure you have the right amount of gas in relation to your buffer weight and buffer spring.
